Drawing Up a Plan to Implement a Colourstrings Approach of Violin Teaching in Catalonia.

I would describe this plan as being based on the Kodaly concept of music teaching and the Colourstrings child-centred approach. The following steps are covered:
1. The analysis of the main folk songs included in the Colourstrings method by the De la Ossa system (2019);
2. The finding of suitable Catalan folk songs according to this analysis;
3. The finding of Catalan words to the Colourstrings tales and the main songs of the repertoire.
A final step was included after the Covid19 pandemic to help students to practise at home.
4. The mastering of practice videos.
This plan is described considering social, pedagogical, and technological aspects and considering what could be transferable to different cultural contexts. Further discussion and research are proposed on the comparison of different approaches of violin teaching such as the Suzuki Method or Prof. Zhang and its uses of technology to assist with home practice.
