Evaluation of the Mobile Applications for Violin and Viola.

This proposal sets out the results of an analysis of the mobile applications existing on Google Play Store for learning violin and viola, and seeks to describe their pedagogical and functional characteristics, using the model developed by Andrade, Jr. and Silveira (2017) to evaluate the quality of educational mobile applications.
The intention is, through research data, to provide tools for the selection of the most appropriate application to the specific demand of each student and to understand whether the applications that most align with the quality criteria also present the greatest number of downloads. The analysis is part of the tasks defined for the creation and development of a mobile application for teaching violin and viola.
